  1. According to Leonard's will, his daughter Sarah was married to David Bealer. The book "Maryland Marriages, 1667-1899" (Jordan Dodd, 2000) lists the marriage of Sarah Ann Weast and David Bouler on 27 April 1822 in Washington County.

"Maryland Marriages" also lists a second marriage for David: David Bealer and Catharine Keplinger on 14 December 1836 in Frederick Co, MD. The 1850 census of "District 1" of Washington County has this family ...
    1850 Census of Dist 1, Washington Co, MD, p 213 - 14 Aug
David Beeler, age 47, b MD, Cooper
Cath. Beeler, age 38, b MD
    Ann C. Beeler, age 11, b MD
    Sarah A. Webster, age 25, b MD
    Mary C. Webster, age 5, b MD
No occupation is listed for Sarah A. Webster, so she would not have been a servant or other "employee" in the household. I can only believe that she is David's daughter from his marriage to Sarah Ann Weast, who had died in 1834, and that she was named for her mother. She was born just 2-3 years after the marriage of David Bealer and Sarah Ann Weast. Catherine would be David's second wife, and their daughter Ann was born in 1838-39.
