It was great after 30 years of knowing this cemetery's existence to be able to view this it in reality. It was a nice experience to have gone there and shared this as three cousins from different branches of Leonard & Elizabeth Weast's tree.
My ancestor, Martin L Haynes, is buried in Shang Graveyard, and I am trying to located it on a map. Could you please provide driving instructions from Boonsboro town center to the graveyard? I would very much appreciate it. Elliott Jones

ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed my visit with my new cousins to view the cemetery. It is a shame that it is in such bad shape.

The Shang graveyard is located on the west side of Maryland Route 66 on a private farm. You need specific permission to access the site.
DeleteIt's the first farm on that side of the road. You can't see the graveyard from the main road. The property owner will have to direct you.
